The Organize & Delete PDF Pages tool gives you a visual thumbnail grid for reordering, deleting, and reorganising the pages of any PDF, entirely in your browser. Your PDF is parsed locally with PDF.js and reassembled with pdf-lib, so the original file never leaves your device.
PDF page organisation matters because a document is rarely perfect on the first export. Slides get out of order during a merge, cover pages and blank separators need removing, and confidential sections must be stripped before sharing. Rearranging pages visually is far faster than re-exporting the whole source file, and it keeps the original layout intact because the pages themselves are never re-rendered.
Common uses include trimming a downloaded form to just the pages you need, moving a signature page to the end of a contract, deleting blank pages that bloat a scanned document, and reordering chapters in a compiled report. Because every thumbnail is generated and every output PDF is assembled on your own device, sensitive contracts and personal records stay under your control from upload to download.
To organise effectively, delete the pages you do not need first so the grid stays uncluttered, then drag the remaining pages into the order you want. Use the up and down arrows for precise moves, select pages to mark them for batch deletion, and press Download Modified PDF when the order looks right. The tool writes a fresh PDF containing only the pages you kept, in the sequence you chose.
Every thumbnail is rendered locally in your browser using PDF.js, a WebAssembly-backed PDF rendering engine. When you upload a PDF, Convert26 never opens a network upload for the file itself: the bytes stay in memory on your device while PDF.js draws each page to an off-screen canvas at a reduced scale and encodes it as a JPEG data URL for the grid.
When you press Download Modified PDF, the tool loads the original PDF with pdf-lib, copies only the pages you kept in the order you arranged, and writes a fresh PDF package entirely in the browser. No temporary cloud copy is created, no processing queue sits on our infrastructure, and closing the tab discards the in-memory data. You stay in control of confidential documents from upload to download.
Because the assembly depends on your device, very large PDFs simply take longer to render and assemble on slower hardware — there is no artificial server-side file size cap from Convert26 for this tool.
